A new report from the Pennsylvania Agricultural Association shows that agriculture in the state is the fastest growing industry in the country, with growth expected to reach $20.6 billion by 2025.
The Pennsylvania Agricultural Institute says that the number of farms in Pennsylvania rose to 7,632 in 2019, up 3.5 percent from the previous year.
The report also shows that the total number of commercial farms grew to 6,664 in 2019.
It also showed that the average price per acre rose to $1,890.PAA says that while growth in Pennsylvania’s commercial agriculture sector has been slow compared to the U.S. average, it has grown faster than the U,K., Germany and France.
The Pennsylvania Agricultural and Food Services Department has said that the U.,K.
is the largest agricultural market for corn, the fastest-growing crop in the U in the 2020s.
In terms of rural agricultural employment, the Pennsylvania Agri-Food and Commercial Services Department says that rural agriculture employment in the United States grew by more than 7 percent from 2000 to 2019.
The sector employed 2.1 million people in the states of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan.
